MY STORY

Welcome and thank you for taking time to find out more about me and my work.

I am the founder of The Human Greenhouse. I have devoted my life to helping others develop and thrive in their business and community leadership roles. Born and raised in Denmark, I've lived and worked internationally for all my working life and been a global leader of diverse and complex teams.

I come with many labels: coach, therapist, space holder, facilitator, change maker, trusted advisor, thinking partner, alchemist, and business doula amongst others.

I am driven by strong values of trust, integrity, dedication, and community. I believe that passion and joy are phenomenal driving forces – and things no less serious or professional for that reason. In fact, it helps us gain agency and take responsibility for our impact on people and planet.

I am accompanied in ink by my two spirit animals – the owl and the sea turtle. Representing the balance between heaven and earth and reminding me of the importance of navigating with laser focus but also knowing when to go with the flow and embrace the unknown. Respectful of the unique presence and environment of myself and others and the beauty of our interwoven existence.

My Journey

I have been a global leader for 25 years. My professional DNA includes leading global teams through M&A’s, strategy processes, business turnaround, market expansion & rebranding. I serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and boards. My sector experience includes retail, manufacturing, financial services, banking, IT, government, and consulting.

My formal training includes a Bachelor, International Business Studies, a Master of Ethics and Values in Organisations from Aarhus University, an Advanced Diploma in Coach Mentoring from the OCM in Oxford, a Master of Psychotherapy from ID Academy, and a 1-year Regenerative Leadership Programme with Laura Storm. In addition, I continue to add to my wide range of facilitation skills and assessment tools, and to be inspired by an awesome network of collaborators.

How Others See Me

I'm told my passion for people and learning shines through and that I show up with empathy, compassion, and integrity. People say they feel safe and valued in my company with licence to have agency over their own life and to dream big. I’m described as highly engaged and often goofy – I laugh easily and like to sprinkle a bit of “circus magic” about the place.

Privately I’m married to Alex and together we have 2 wonderful grown-up sons. When I am not working, I practice Pilates and being in nature is essential for my wellbeing, so hiking and cold-water swimming are all part of my routine and much social connection. I love a craft project and I am a total movie nerd; especially when it comes to all things Star Wars.
